Jackson, MS — January 19, 2010 –  The Jackson\Hinds Library System announced today that Shellie Zeigler has been hired as the new Branch Manager for the Clinton Branch.

Shellie joins the Jackson\Hinds System from the Library of Hattiesburg, Petal and Forrest County where she has served as the Branch Manager for the Petal Branch & Head of Youth Services. She earned her Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Oklahoma. As well as her B.A. in Psychology from Purdue University. Shellie also has served as Youth Services, Adult Services, and a Senior Services Librarian with the Metropolitan Library System in Oklahoma City, OK and Reference Librarian for the University of Southern Mississippi in Long Beach, MS.
