Local Author J.L. Mulvihill will come join us for a discussion about this fascinating genre, and her own work.   We will also create Steampunk- inspired top hats.

Happy Halloween from the Quisenberry Library! All kids, please come join us on Tuesday, October 30th from 5:00-6:30 for our Fall Festival! There will be lots of candy and prizes! Please wear your costume…we will be wearing ours!

Everyone wanted to know where the fire was at the library this morning.  Everything was great, because the Clinton Fire Department came to the library to do a program on fire safety.

The kids learned about what to do in a fire, how to call 911, and what to do with matches if they find them.

The highlight for most of them was getting to climb on the newest fire truck in the Clinton FPD.

And everyone LOVED getting to shoot the fire hose!

He told all the kids if they ever find a gun to “stop, don’t touch, and tell an adult.”  When it comes to drugs and alcohol, they talked about ways to avoid them, and how it is good to stand up for the right reasons. 

All begin at 4 pm.

June 26-Local artist Bob Dunaway comes to do a drawing workshop

July 3-Quisenberry Writing Club.  This will be a first meeting, and we will talk about creative writing and how to write your own stories.

July 10-Quisenberry Writing Club. We will go through a series of fun activities to practice writing your own stories.

July 17-Summer Reading Wrap Party!  Refreshments will be served.
